What is an extraction credit?
One credit covers one document of up to 5 pages. Longer documents use an additional credit per 5 pages, rounded up: an 8-page bank statement uses 2 credits and a 22-page loan package uses 5. API responses report the charge in meta.credits_used.
What if my documents exceed 50 pages?
Self-service plans accept files up to 50 pages. For longer files or more complex document sets, contact us to scope an Enterprise plan against your actual documents and volume.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Extractions return a quota error instead of billing an overage. Your allowance resets at the start of each billing period. You can upgrade from your dashboard when you need more capacity.
Can I define my own document types?
Yes. Define fields in the schema builder or use sample documents to infer a starting schema. Review the fields before processing production files. Enterprise includes schemas built and tuned for your document set.
Are API access and upload portals included?
Every plan includes the REST API, upload-site webhooks, schema inference, and custom confidence thresholds. Plan differences are credit volume, schema count, upload sites, and support.
How are my documents handled?
Account documents are stored in encrypted Cloudflare R2 storage, and OCR results are cached by file hash. Self-service deletion is not currently available. Contact hello@dokyumi.com to request deletion and confirm the applicable scope and timing.
Can I change my billing interval?
You can change your plan and billing interval through your dashboard. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year; the credit allowance remains monthly.
